It was only quite recently that I found out my catechism friend died in a traffic accident. His death must have been quite shocking to his family, girlfriend and close friends - the Lord taking him away from this earthly prison at such a tender age.

I, Clement do not fear death, because living is sometimes more frightening than being dead.

But his passing made me think a bit...

My entire existence is wasted. If I were to meet God now, I would have felt ashamed.

I have not left a legacy behind. A piece of music, a business corporation, a well-written literature work.

And most importantly,

I have not made a single impact in anyone's life. If I were to die tomorrow, would you remember me for whom I am?

Probably close to none.

Driven, spurred on, motivated by your death, I live on to die another day, trudging forward to achieve my purpose in life.

Thank you friends, and goodbye.
