Today's a big example of the word 'suay'.
As today's a public holiday, CKT organized a 16k extended tournament. And CKT has the best competitve players in Singapore.
Prizes:
1st : $82 dollars
2nd : $54 dollars
3rd 4th: $18
I was highest (and leading) in points, blazing through three skilled opponents in a row - which is just wrong 'cos I hardly play competitive.
I can almost taste the $82 dollars.
...then I got paired down - which means I cannot draw with my opponent and if I lose I get kicked to 4th place instead of 2nd.
And I lost.
See the difference between the prize money?
Ouch.
