Surprisingly, my mother's pizza tastes good - even though I often complain her food taste like cardboard. And when you praise my mother, she will go, "Of course lar." ARGH.
Now I know why my some of my friends stopped praising me. I have the tendency of going, "That's rather obvious", or even to the point of hubris. But truth is, I am shy towards compliments - be it my looks, talents, or character.
With my whole heart, I believed that I have no talents. But character and looks on the other hand...

First day of school.
Lectures now are like ... workshops - you don't consider 40 people a lecture right?
At least I knew most of the people in the lecture, so I am not vastly disappointed. Still disappointed though, I'll get to see people like Adeline. I feel revolted just by merely looking at her.
Have you ever felt like this? In life, there are some people that just sickens you even though you do not know them well. You just don't like their face. If you ask any normal people, they might say Adeline looks okay, but to me, I find Adeline horrifyingly hideous. Feel like bashing it in with a loxodon warhammer to make it look better.
I sounded stuck-up, but this is the cold, hard truth of the person I am.
...I'm not as loving as a good catholic should be.
