Evangelion is not like any other ordinary anime series. It's like ... wow.
Hideaki Anno, the director of the anime series, had suffered from mental illness prior to creating the series. No wonder, it's so dark and chim. It was created by a half-insane man!
Not for kids obviously. Even I have a tough time watching and understanding it. It has the flavors of a dark Shakespearean literature text. If you're interested in psychology, you should catch this series whether you like anime or not.
The ending is a bit ... -__-. No wonder, people around the world were sending him hate mails and death threats. Thankfully, they made a movie series - which was a major hit.
If a boy goes into a intimate relationship with a girl who was created scientifically from his own biological mother's genes and the genes of something inhuman, is it considered incest?
