I am pleasantly surprised about the reviews for my Eureka seven fanfiction. After posting my writing, I hopped into bed and slept. Woke up to find that I have 5 reviews for it.
My previous work, a 15k words guilty gear fanfiction, received 9 reviews in the span of three months. And most of it is telling how I suck anyway. *sigh*
For my Eureka seven fanfiction, it was all good reviews. Sometimes, I prefer constructive reviews on how to improve my writing. Half of them was asking me to add more lemon in my story. Lemon = sexual content. I am not some kind of pervert, okay. I write only in the name of LOVE!
At the very least, my guilty gear fanfic help in ways. I met my best online male friend through the website. Went to the arcade with him a couple of times.
This time, I got to know a pretty american girl - someone who might be even more passionate about Eureka seven than me. There are plans to collaborate a few fanfics. Cool! XD
I should be able to start another E7 one-shot, and perhaps one more, before writing longer stories. Get the ball rolling, ya know? Hopefully, by this holiday, I am able to write some original fantasy short stories.
A writer friend of mine(and his friend) took six months of planning to create his world from scratch. It's a pretty simple world with only humans, and well, dwarves and *yawn*
I wonder how long would I take to create a world featuring planeswalkers, religious fanatics, vampires, paladins, necromancers, nature spirits, mystical beasts, mechas, artifact constructs, magitechnology.
Very long, I suppose.

"To understand people, one must first start with oneself." This is an adage that has been passed from generation to generations, for hundreds and probably thousands of years. And how true is this? Real self-comprehension and self-understanding is hard to find. The mind, so sharp at observing the outside world, is useless when turned inward. Some scientists have theorised that this is like the infinite repetition of an image between mirrors, going off into infinity, running a recurring, hanged programme. And this is true. The Bible says, "Do not look for the splinter in others' eyes; rather, look for the log in your own." Self-understanding is usually superficial and rare; and the few who have it waste it because they do not know how to act on it.
