I am back from cruise. It's a good break from the usual slacking. Break from slacking, heh.
So, I shall blog a tiny bit about my trip. No pictures though, I wanted to take a picture of me playing chess. The pieces is approximately the size of a small child.
Day 1: (if u even considered it a day)
Boarded the cruise on 8pm. Skipped the whole waiting like, Dad brought us straight to the VIP area. We had dinner at Pavilion -some chinese restaurant- on 9pm.
Sidenote: Pavilion and Bella vista are 'free' restaurants that served set meals, compromising of appetizer, soup, main course, and dessert
And STRAIGHT after dinner, Lloyd and I went for second dinner. Level 12 Mediterranean buffet. Hehe pro bo, I can spell leh. We practically took everything we saw, since we didn't know what's nice or not. I liked the coconut ice cream, where you can add your own toppings of chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce, berry jam, chocolate rice and coconut flakes. Slouching on the chair after a hearty meal, and patting my... 28inch... belly. I know it's a bit less; rounding it up sounds better than saying 27.5inch.
Explored the cruise and booked my facial appointment. Ahhhh, that's one of the main reasons I was looking forward to cruise.
And we went for supper shortly afterwards. -__-'' Curry and naan.
True to my 'live to eat, eat to live' moral codes. WHAT?! You mean there's a higher purpose than eating?
I had a 3 hour plus sleep. Lloyd claimed I whacked him in my sleep. How credible, I don't know. Because we were sleeping on separate beds.

Day 2:
Woke up early to see sunrise. Disappointing, darn clouds. We did gym, and jogging.
And well, We went for breakfast...at pavilion...then mediterranean buffet. You know, the usual.
I'll been called glutton multiples times during the trip. Is it wrong to think of lunch when you're eating breakfast, then think of dinner while you're eating lunch? *sigh* =(
Lunch was at bella vista. Nicest eating ambience. Classy. Main course was crap though. I forgotten whether did we go to you-know-where, but I think we did.
Ha, facial appointment. I told them the night before that time didn't matter, as long as it is a pretty and young lady.
"Like father, like son." was the lady-boss reply.
Dang.
So, they got me this twenty-year old thai girl. Spoke bad english, but who cares really. As long it is a ..........
She used this thing to dun-know-what my face, and that thing to yada-yada my face. Whatever, it's good for me can liao. I caught words like 'exfoliate'. And she commented I had a LOT of blackheads. *sigh* I know la. All of my close friends know I can eat well...and I am not a vain person. That explains why. I am not vain, really.
Things were getting steamy...I mean...she used this machine that blow steam at your face, to open your pores. Then dig out blackheads out. It's painful, but I am used to such stuff. No pain, no gain. There's always a price to pay for beauty. The facial ended with mask (I slept through it).
This is one interesting experience. They have japanese plunge baths in the Apollo club. It's basically a bathtub filled with water. One was at 40 degrees, the other was at ... 6 degrees. SIX DEGREES! That's almost freezing point. And I think you were supposed to plunge into the forty degree bath before going into six degree one.
OH MY GAWD! BUDDHA! THAT'S MADNESS. JAPANESE ARE CRAZY.
We were using the steam room, when my eyes rested on this guy who dropped into the 6 degree pool. Three seconds later, he howled and jumped out. I barged out of the room to take a look at the...hero(or moron).
We chatted a bit with him. I went into the 40degree tub, then gingerly placed my whole leg into the pool. Meh, it went completely numb after I came out. After much cajoling, I tried again. This time, immersing till shoulders. Felt like a thousand needles poking your skin at one shot. Lloyd managed to stay the longest in the freezing pond. Fats keep you warm indeed! And he has enough of it to keep a cruise running for two days! Just kidding.
I had seafood dinner with daddy and friends at the harbour. One of them was telling me to use my *ahem* priviledge of threatening. "Do you know who's my father" crap.. That's a chinese chen yu for that, something about fox and tiger. Shark fin is damn nice, and soft shell crab. =D
Headed back to the ship to eat at Bella vista. Took all of Lloyd's potatoes and half of his beef. He couldn't finished them, but hey...it's okay. Lloyd usually have smaller portions of food for meals, his stomach is not used to it. Unlike me, who trained with Moses while we were in secondary school. Before, we slacked off eating after '0' levels. The old Moses is back, I think. Let's go eat carl junior sometime, okay?
Ate the most food that evening. When I was younger, I used to think that my cousin eating four big mac is like 'WOAH'. But compared to that dinner(plus second dinner), it seemed like cake walk.
Later, we went to watch 'kingdom of kungfu', where they hired shaolin monks from china to perform. YAH RIGHT! When we went into the crew disco, I chatted with a 'shaolin monk' who smoked and drank beer. He asked if I sing. I know I am incredibly gorgeous, but sadly, I can't sing. *sigh*
And we ended the night with some drinks.
Day 3:
Woke up at 8.30am. Went for breakfast at bella vista, then you-know-where for second breakfast. Book-out day, not much activities on board. Played bingo, which...haiz...didn't win.
And had our last lunch before we leave. A rather light lunch of sandwiches and soup......and heavy on desserts. Like what Clement says, "There is always room for dessert, even if you're full." Lloyd didn't agree. What do you think?
I am getting fat =( ... I hope.
