Tsk, it's that time of the month AGAIN!
Clement celebrates his 19th consecutive valentine day ALONE, and probably for the rest of his miserable existence. Celebrating this day it with 'sick' people.
When I mean sick people, I meant guys that suddenly fall 'ill' during this particular day. (because they got 3 girlfriends, and you know, he's only one man.) What to do? Not only does this plan allows you to avoid suspicion from all your girlfriends, you can save cost on expensive flowers and dinner! Wow, that's like killing two birds with one stone!
And talking about flowers, the prices are absolute daylight robbery. Roses goes at $6 per stalk at Ngee ann. And a boquet of 99 roses costs 240 dollars and that is CONSIDERED CHEAP. Yes, I have been receiving all those valentine day mails in my NP mail box. I can spend that money on something much more worthwhile, like example: lan gaming, T1 rarities and books.
If you seriously want some flowers, you can go to the nearest neighbourhood graveyard. Churches are quite a good choice. St.Mary is only a 3 min walk from my house.
It's no wonder I receive no flowers during V days. Chocolates, yes. Flowers, no. And what the heck are you suppose to do with those flowers? My sister used to put them out in the sun to dry, and probably throw them away after a while. And those soft toys she received from the guys, they are hidden somewhere in her cupboard. She claims she is popular among guys. Well, that's highly debatable...
And I wondered what happened to that one pink rose I gave to her...(okay, maybe not give, because she paid half of it.) Thinking of that misunderstanding cracks me up...
