Homily of his holiness | Wednesday, December 28, 2005

MY THIRTY POST!!!

I stumbled on this card of mine when my mother packed my room.

It was given by ArchBishop Nicolas Chia when I was serving as his bodyguard at the confirmation mass. The Archbishop reminded me of a loving grandfather, maybe I should call him Ah gong the next time I see him again. Errr...
On second thoughts, no. Later he bludgeon me on the head with the sceptor or rod he carry around...

(Clement, Archbishop, Moses)

He claimed the card came from Vatican city itself.

Of course must believe la!

ArchBishop leh! Why would His Grace lie to me?

Here's what the card says. It's a homily by the Pope.

...
..
.

And only where God is seen
does life truly begin.
Only when we meet the living God in Christ
do we know what life is.

We are not some casual and meaningless product of evolution.
Each of us is the result of a thought of God.
Each of us is willed, each of us is loved, each of us is necessary.

There is nothing more beautiful than to be surprised by the Gospel,
by the encounter with Christ.
There is nothing more beautiful than to know Him,
and to speak to others of our friendship with Him.

...
..
.

From my personal experience with the Lord; I would say that God is mysterious and He does have a sense of humour. =) That's mine. What about yours?
